Near-conformal dynamics in a chirally broken system

Composite Higgs models must exhibit very different dynamics from quantum chromodynamics (QCD) regardless whether they describe the boson as a dilatonlike state or pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson. Large separation of scales and large anomalous dimensions are frequently desired by phenomenological models. Mass-split systems well-suited for composite because governed conformal fixed point in ultraviolet but chirally broken infrared. In this work we use lattice field theory calculations with domain wall fermions to investigate system four light six heavy flavors. We demonstrate how nearby affects properties flavors that chiral symmetry breaking Specifically hyperscaling dimensionful physical quantities determine corresponding mass dimension. obtain $y_m=1+\gamma^*= 1.47(5)$ suggesting $N_f=10$ lies inside window. Comparing low energy spectrum predictions dilaton perturbation theory, observe excellent agreement which supports expectation 4+6 mass-split exhibits near-conformal relatively $0^{++}$ isosinglet scalar.
